Like other nations, the Philippines suffered in the 2009 recession. Thanks to the resiliency of the Pinoys, the Philippines stood firm and look to the future with optimism.
Today the population of the Philippines is over 103 million although population control is one of the goals of government.
Despite of super typhoons and strong earthquakes that ravaged the country, the Filipinos are still standing firm and strong to go through all the hardships encountered.
The resilient spirit of the Filipinos will make the country move on to the next centuries.
