A religious festival honors the Feast of Our Lady of Peñafrancia who is. Bicol’s most revered patroness. There is a fluvial procession of the Lady’s image down the Bicol River. The International Surfing Cup is an Asian Surfing Championships that brings the World’s best surfers together. Aside from the competition, there are parties and impromptu exhibitions of what surfing is really all about.
